The interim ScoutProgress terms, and everything your Group holds here in one download.
Checking the terms…
One file with every member, section, register, Adventure Skill, Special Interest Badge, venue and Scouter account, and the logo and venue photos. Passwords and sign-in codes are never in it.
Sections
The sections your Group runs: when each meets, how many young people it has, and the adults the Ratios Policy asks for at a weekly meeting. Add a second Beaver colony or Cub pack, rename any section, and set the night it meets. A name is only needed when you run two of a kind: adding a second Beavers makes them Beavers 1 and Beavers 2. A section with members in it cannot be retired until they move.
Invite a Scouter
They will receive a secure, one-time activation link valid for seven days.
Scouters and administrators
All Group Administrators have equal permissions. At least one administrator must remain. Removing somebody frees their email address to be invited again, and keeps the badges they awarded and the registers they took.
Invitations
Resend expired or pending invitations, or cancel access before activation.
Members as a spreadsheet
Download the roll, fill in membership numbers and family contacts, and upload the same file back.
Archived members
Archived members are deleted for good on the date shown, with their progress, attendance and Special Interest Badges. Restore brings someone back before then; Delete permanently removes them now.
Dens & Campsites Directory Your den, campsite, hall or other facilities, ready if a national directory is introduced
Dens & Campsites Directory
Help prepare for a possible national directory of Scout dens, campsites, halls and other facilities
If a national directory is introduced, completed profiles could help Scouters across Ireland find places to meet, camp and explore. Your Group stays in control of what it chooses to share.
- Describe themAdd your den, campsite, hall or other facilities, with photos, amenities and availability.
- Share them nationallyIf a directory is introduced, choose whether to list them. It could also bring in income for your Group.
- You're in controlKeep your facilities private, or make them visible to other Scout Groups whenever you choose.
A national directory may be introduced in the future. Your choices are saved, but nothing is published.

Attendance tracker Where you meet, and the weekly report
Where you meet
The places the attendance register offers you to choose from.
What these two settings do
The weekly report tells whoever pays the bills how many nights you used each place.
- Include in the hall usage figure - tick this for somewhere you are charged for, like the den or a rented hall. Leave it clear for a hike or a video call, where there is nothing to pay. Only ticked places appear in the report, so that the number your treasurer acts on is not inflated by evenings that cost nothing.
- How it is counted - some halls charge for the whole evening and some for each meeting.
- Per night - Cubs at 6pm and Scouts at 7:30pm in the same hall is one use.
- Per meeting - the same evening is two uses.
- Per hour - the hall charges for the time you are in it. Set a rate per hour, then set the session times below, and ScoutProgress works out the monthly figures for you.
A place is archived rather than deleted, because registers already filed there point at it. Archiving stops it being offered tonight and changes nothing that has already been recorded.
Session times
What time each section starts and finishes. Used for halls charged by the hour.
Two sections on the same night
Add a line for each. If Cubs are in from 6:30 to 7:45 and Scouts from 8:15 to 9:30, that is two lines and the hall is charged for 2 hours and 30 minutes - not the three hours between the first start and the last finish.
Changing a time here changes the meetings recorded from now on. Months you have already reported stay exactly as they were, because each meeting keeps the times it was recorded with.
Hall hours by month
What each hall charged by the hour was used for, night by night.
Email the monthly hall report
Sent to whoever deals with the hall bill, once a month, with the figures above. Not sent to the hall.
Weekly attendance report
Emailed once a week, on the day you choose: last week's attendance and hall usage figures. Numbers only - names stay in ScoutProgress.
Download the register history
One row per member, one column per meeting, with where you met. Every roll-call taken so far, in one file.
Y present · N absent · a blank means they were not in the section that night, so it is not counted against them. Opens straight into Excel; save it as a workbook there if you want to keep formatting.
